The Mercedes-Benz 300 CE C124 was already one of the most elegant coupes of the 1980s. LOTEC took that foundation and built something altogether more dramatic. The conversion began with the body: a full GRP wide-body kit with dramatically flared wheel arches, a deep front apron, matching rear bumper, and integrated side skirts. The transformation was total.
The engine received equal attention. The M103 3.0-litre straight-six was converted to biturbo specification, with twin turbochargers boosting output to up to 368 hp — more than double the standard car's output. The result was a car that could match its dramatic appearance with equally dramatic performance.
These conversions were particularly sought after in Japan, where LOTEC's reputation for quality and exclusivity had a devoted following. The combination of German engineering and Japanese appreciation for craftsmanship made the 300 CE Biturbo a natural fit for the Japanese market.

Deep front bumper with integrated air intakes, replacing the standard Mercedes bumper entirely.
Dramatically flared arches front and rear, accommodating wider track and larger wheels.
Full-length side skirts connecting front and rear aprons, lowering the visual centre of gravity.
Custom deep rear apron with integrated diffuser elements, matching the front in aggression.
Modified bonnet with power bulge to clear the turbocharged engine installation.
All body components in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) — LOTEC's preferred material for its strength-to-weight ratio.
