LOTEC's relationship with Porsche began in 1975, when the company started producing GRP bodywork conversions for Porsche vehicles. By the late 1980s, that relationship had matured into complete transformation packages — and the 928 GT was the most comprehensive expression of that work.
The LOTEC 928 GT combined a custom wide-body kit in GRP — flared arches, revised front and rear bumpers, side skirts — with performance modifications including lowered suspension and engine tuning. The result was a car that looked as though it had been designed this way from the factory.
LOTEC offered the 928 GT in multiple colours and specifications, with the wide-body kit available separately or as part of a complete conversion package. The blue and purple examples shown in LOTEC's own photography demonstrate the visual impact of the conversion.
The 928 GT was part of the same era that produced the TT1000 Ferrari — a period when LOTEC was pushing the boundaries of what a tuning company could achieve, both aesthetically and mechanically.
